purple potatoes! these babies came with my csa share (http://www.gardenofevefarm.com). these little guys are NATURALLY (NOT because monsanto made them so) resistant to potato blight, which is probably why our organic farmers are growing them…they don’t need pesticides (does anything really though)?!
i am also fond of this image because it’s impossible to tell any sort of proportion. mainly because, why would i be cutting little potatoes with a 7 inch knife?! and the answer, it’s fun to cut little things with big sharp knives.
